FLORIDA STREET (0.05 KM/ 0.03 MI) A pedestrian street located in downtown Buenos Aires. A shopping area recognized as the most important commercial street in Argentina.
RECONQUISTA PEDESTIAN STREER (one block from the street) A pedestrian street where various bars and restaurants can be found.
PUERTO MADERO (0.1 KM/ 0.06 MI) Here you can find a wide variety of restaurants, a cinema complex, and large number of important multinational company offices.
RECOLETA (2 KM/ 1.24 MI) Recoleta is a downtown residential neighbourhood. It is of great architectural and historical interest, especially Recoleta Cemetery and the many restaurants and bars on offer.
LA BOCA NEIGHBOURHOOD (2 KM/ 1.24 MI) Caminito Street is one of the most visited streets in La Boca. It is only about 100 metres long, cobblestoned, and full of murals, pottery and corrugated-iron topped houses of all different colours and decorations. Also important are: the area around La Boca’s Museum of Fine Art, the Theatre of Ribera and the Boca Junior’s football stadium.
SAN TELMO NEIGHBOURHOOD (3 KM/ 1.86 MI) Some places of interest include the San Telmo market and the antiques fair. You can also enjoy the many jazz and tango clubs here.
MONTSERRAT NEIGHBOURHOOD(1 KM/ 0.62 MI) This neighbourhood boasts some of the city’s most important historical buildings, including the Plaza de Mayo, the Casa de Gobierno (Main Government Building), the Cabildo and the Cathedral.
SAN NICOLAS (1.5 KM/ 0.93 MI) San Nicolas is located on 9 de Julio Avenue, where it is possible to admire one of the city’s most important symbols, the Obelisk. Another place of interest is Corrientes Avenue, a traditional street, famous for its many theatres, and for being home to the Tango culture in the famous cafes and bars.
RETIRO The main train station and San Martín Square are located in Retiro, declared a historic site. On one of the streets around the square you can find the Chancellery or Anchorena Palace can be found, and on the other side the National Arms Museum.
PALERMO Las Cañitas, Palermo Viejo, Palermo Hollywood and Barrio Norte are areas with plenty of bars and restaurants, and excellent places for shopping as well. The Botanical Gardens, the Zoo, the racecourse and Alto Palermo shopping mall are also located in this area.
