PLAYA BRAVA BEACH (opposite hotel) Its white sands, length and width make it the ideal beach to sunbathe and practice beach sports. There are playgrounds for children.
CAVANCHA BEACH (0,6 MI/ 1 KM ) Its white sands make it the city’s most popular beachside resort, as does its great location. Backed by the beachside promenade it is set within a modern residential area and surrounded by a park with a fabulous public footpath.

Opening times: 11:00 am to 9:00 pm IQUIQUE CATHEDRAL In 1989 it was declared a National Historic Monument along with other parochial buildings.
THE MONUMENT OF THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER At Sailor’s Point, as well as observing the Emerald Buoy, you can visit the enormous bronze statue erected in honor of the unknown sailor from the Naval Battle of Iquique.
THE ASTORECA PALACE The Astoreca Palace is a mansion located on Baquedano street that was built in 1904.
MUNICIPAL THEATRE It was originally opened as an Opera House in 1890, when the saltpeter was in its prime. It was declared a National Monument in 1977.
HUMBERSTONE SALT PETER OFFICE (40 MI/ 64.37 KM) The salt peter office of the 30’s stopped operations in 1960, leaving all the population precinct intact to date.
